The ESL Program's goal at Pillar College is to help non-English speakers improve their listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills. Upon completing the program, students are expected to be adequately prepared for English-only college courses and pursue their bachelor’s degrees at Pillar College or any other four-year college in the United States.
The ESL Program is correlated to the Common European Framework (CEFR). It merges the best features of well-known communicative methodologies while offering a balance of all four language skills, vocabulary, pronunciation, and grammar to help students learn to communicate confidently.
