Title: Event Management Minor
Location: US
Company: Education
The Event Management Minor is designed for undergraduate students who are interested in learning how to lead and manage event experiences that promote their organization’s business and marketing goals. These goals may be to increase brand awareness, introduce a new product or service to market, raise funds for a notable cause, honor donors and benefactors, and much more. This minor consists of 18 credits. It will prepare students for meeting and event careers in profit and non-profit sectors. These careers would include leading and managing medium-to-large scale events such as corporate meetings, conventions, educational programs, concerts, and ceremonies. The Event Management Minor has an interdisciplinary focus. It includes courses in business, leadership, marketing communication, and experience design. As such, it pulls from – and is supported by – each of the departments in Cabrini’s School of Business, Arts, and Media.
