Introduction to accounting and financial analysis concepts, methods, and problems. Includes accounting principles, measurement and disclosure issues, financial statement analysis, time value of money, cash flow projection and analysis, capital budgeting and project evaluation, bond and equity valuation, cost of capital, and capital structure. Effective Fall 2021, this course fulfills a single unit in the following BU Hub areas: Quantitative Reasoning II, and Critical Thinking.
