Title: Web and Graphic Design
Location: US
Company: Education
Web and Graphic designers create visual concepts by hand or using computer software to communicate ideas that inspire, inform, or captivate consumers. They help make an organization recognizable by selecting colors, images, or logo designs representing a particular idea or identity used in advertising and promotions.
The Web and Graphic Design program prepare students to design and code websites using various computer languages and software and the design skills necessary to gain entry-level employment in the field. Students learn to apply industry-standard software such as Adobe Creative Suite, which facilitates the creation of visual design solutions -- along with the knowledge and skills necessary in the creation of a website’s technical aspects, such as performance and responsiveness. Students gain hands-on experience in scripting languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and MySQL while creating designs for web, print, and multimedia.
