The X-Ray Technology Program at JEM College in Riverside, CA is a 9-month program that trains students to perform duties primarily in an outpatient medical environment such as in urgent care, medical offices, orthopedic offices, chiropractic offices, industrial, medical clinics, and family practice.
To educate students to acquire satisfactory skills and demonstrate competence in Radiographic examinations under the scope of the permits of Chest, Extremities, and Torso-skeletal. This education will consist of a didactic (classroom) and clinical education (externship). Upon successful completion, the student will be eligible to sit for The State of California Department of Public Health, Radiologic Health Branch examination for Limited Permit X-ray Technician.
