$88,192.00 - $136,697.60The clinical Nurse contributes to the creation of a compassionate and caring environment for patients, families and colleagues through displays of kindness and active listening. Recognizes and appreciates that each employee’s work is valuable and contributes to the success of the Mission.About: E8 is the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation unit. Patients come to us for two-three weeks of intensive therapy with the goal of getting home to or near their baseline function. It is a multidisciplinary effort with input from physical, speech and occupational therapy, from nursing, from the medical teams, all overseen by the Physiatrists. Our patients stay are planned and usually follow a predictable path, allowing staff members time to develop therapeutic relationships and help the patients to achieve their treatment goals.
Special Skills: You will gain many skills on our Rehab Unit. These special skills include specialized knowledge and clinical skills to provide care for patients with physical impairments. The development of interdisciplinary skills and communication as part of a team treatment environment. Ability to build an develop therapeutic relationships with patients and their families, bedside manners and skills will benefit clinicians for their entire careers.
