JOB DESCRIPTION

Summary

Department: Orthopedics Unit

Shift timing: 19:00-07:30 Hours Monday to friday (3 Days/12 Hours)

Per Week: 36 Hours.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor patient care plans. Monitor, record and communicate patient condition as appropriate.
• Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
• Minimum Qualifications
• BLS, NIH; EOW; EOH; 1 year of med/surg experience needed, EPIC is charting system; may need to float onsite within skill set or to sites within 40 miles if needed

QUALIFICATIONS

• BLS and ACLS
• National Institutes of Health (NIH)
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• The ability to stand for extended periods.
• Strong technical skills.
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Passionate about patient care
• Requires a minimum of two years of current RN Med/Surg experience.
• Graduate from a fully accredited RN program
• Active unencumbered Wisconsin RN state license
• One year of Cerner experience

Requirements
• COVID vaccine with 2 Shots & Booster.
