The Loyola University Health System (LUHS) and the Loyola University Chicago (LUC) Stritch School of Medicine invite applications for a full-time faculty position on the Clinical Educator Track (CET) for a Board Certified or Board Eligible Ophthalmologist who is fellowship-trained in Oculofacial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.Applicants must have completed an ASOPRS-accredited or equivalent Oculoplastics fellowship. The expected academic rank is Assistant Professor or higher, with final rank, tenure status, and salary commensurate with experience and qualifications.
Position Overview
We seek an academically motivated and collaborative oculoplastic surgeon to expand our busy practice and meet growing regional demand. The position offers opportunities for multidisciplinary collaboration with ENT, Neurosurgery, Neurology, Trauma, and Maxillofacial Surgery. Well-equipped minor OR facilities are available at both Loyola University Medical Center (Maywood) and the Loyola Center for Health at Burr Ridge.

The Department of Ophthalmology at Loyola manages over 65,000 annual patient visits across Loyolas main campus (Maywood), four satellite clinics, and the Edward Hines, Jr. VA Hospital. The department includes 15 full-time clinical faculty, 8 full-time research scientists, and a wide range of subspecialty coverage.
Residency Training and Education
