Job Description & Responsibilities

• Join an established group of neurologists in an academic setting

• Opportunity to develop a neurology subspecialty program

• Anticipated mix of specialty and general neurology, with at least 50% of the time in specialty

• Mostly in-person outpatient clinic with opportunity for some remote tele-neurology

• Opportunity for academic appointment at Columbia University and teaching Bassett IM Residents & Columbia-Bassett Medical Students

• Inpatient & Outpatient Tele-Neurology support from University of Rochester

• Very limited call; 2-4 days per month

• Full spectrum case mix and diverse patient population

• EMR-EPIC

• Salary Range: $320,000 - $400,000. This compensation range represents Bassett Healthcare's good faith belief of the compensation range at the time of this posting or advertisement. Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards

• Bassett offers Physicians an incentive plan with no earnings cap. Individual performance and productivity can significantly enhance compensation with potential upside realized within the first year of employment.

• Sign-on Bonus up to $150,000

• $45,000 additional residency/fellowship stipend

Job Qualifications

• MD, DO or MBBS

• Board Eligible or Board Certified

• New York State Licensure

• BLS Certification Required

• Require Stroke experience; reading EEG, and/or performing EMG desirable

• DEA Required
