About the Role
As an RN Resident, you will deliver general nursing care using sound judgment and foundational knowledge of nursing principles and techniques. You will work closely with healthcare providers to ensure timely and accurate patient care, including medication administration, treatment assistance, and thorough documentation.
Education
- Graduation from an accredited nursing school is required.
Experience and Licenses - Current and unrestricted nursing license for the state is mandatory.
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
- Advanced certifications such as ACLS, PALS (or ENPC), and TNCC must be obtained within 12 months of hire.
Key Responsibilities - Administer medications and treatments following approved nursing protocols.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members by providing accurate and timely patient information.
- Utilize the nursing process for patient assessment, care planning, and documentation.
- Prepare equipment and assist providers during patient examinations and treatments.
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory standards, including obtaining appropriate consents.
- Participate in orientation, staff meetings, and ongoing training to foster a culture of teamwork and professional growth.
