While the emphasis is on digital single-lens reflex cameras, most subject matter applies to photography with any camera, including smartphones and point and shoot cameras. Topics covered include qualities of light, composition, creative use of camera controls, flash, and portraiture. Includes field trip, class project, and evaluation of project photographs to introduce digital image editing basics. This class is open to anyone 18 years of age and older.
