In partnership with the College of Sciences’ Biology and Environmental Science Department, the Kinesiology Department supports a minor in Human Nutrition. This minor provides you with a strong foundation in nutrition principles and assessment in the context of human health and disease. It may be a good fit for students interested in pursuing careers in hospitality, health and fitness and other fields.
- General Description: The biology minor is a broad minor focusing on the various aspects of biological sciences. Total Semester Hours: 22-24.
- Learning Outcomes: Students completing a minor in biology should acquire a basic knowledge of the biological sciences and become familiar with the scientific method and its applications in research.
