Plumber Position

This plumber position is perfect for a licensed, hands-on tradesperson who wants to lead in commercial plumbing: you'll tackle layout, maintenance, start-ups, troubleshooting, and quality control, while managing crew productivity in a collaborative, safety-driven environment.

Position Summary

Install, maintain, and repair commercial plumbing systems, including piping, fixtures, valves, and related equipment. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and project plans to ensure accurate system installation and compliance with codes and project specifications. Collaborate with project teams, engineers, and contractors to troubleshoot and resolve plumbing issues efficiently. Perform preventative maintenance and system testing to ensure optimal performance and reliability of commercial plumbing systems. This role requires strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality work on commercial projects.

Role Responsibilities

• Perform trade specific tasks on a construction site
• Oversee productivity of crew
• Ensure schedules and deadlines are met
• Perform some layout activities
• Perform some material takeoffs as necessary
• Trade related material, tool, and equipment requisitions
• Perform planned maintenance tasks as assigned
• Perform equipment start up with associated documentation
• Perform quality control inspections
• Technical trouble shooting and diagnostics when needed
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school degree or GED preferred or equivalent combination of skills and experience
• Journeyman or Master License required
• Good physical condition and ability to stand for extended periods of time
• Good dexterity and eye hand coordination
• Aptitude for technical problem solving
• Familiarity with building codes and current laws/regulations
• Ability to maintain clean and orderly tools/work area
• Good communication skills both verbal and written
• Expert knowledge of trade tools, equipment, and materials
• Keen eye for detail

Minimum Physical Requirements

• Work outside, inside, and in dusty, noisy and hazardous areas.
• Work in high places, tight places, confined spaces and/or other adverse locations.
• Climb, balance, squat, kneel and crouch.
• Work in all types of weather.
• Must have working knowledge of all trade materials and tools.
• Ability to lift and carry 51 to 75 lbs. occasionally, and/or 31 to 45 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 16 to 22 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
