The Senior Registration Associate is responsible for performing and overall coordination of clerical duties related to the efficient and service oriented operation of a medical practice. The Senior Registration Associate will perform all job functions in a courteous and professional manner consistent with the mission and core values of St Peter's Health Partners Medical Associates.
Responsibilities include ensuring distribution of work throughout the team, managing daily staffing needs, serving as a mentor and role model, scheduling patient appointments, handling incoming calls, registering patients, obtaining necessary consent forms and patient demographic data, collecting co-pays, documenting monies collected, acting as liaison between patients and clinical staff, scheduling follow-up appointments, obtaining pre-authorizations, obtaining referrals, passing charges, understanding and performing parsing process, maintaining patient confidentiality, and communicating effectively with team members.
What you will need includes strong leadership skills, an associate's degree preferred, high school diploma/equivalent required, demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office and other computer applications, experience with delivering customer service, experience with handling multiple priorities, ability to manage difficult customers, previous medical office experience preferred, and ability to lift 25 lbs.
Pay range: $18.50-$23.90. Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
