Complexity of Work: Extensive interactions are required with both internal and external individuals at a staff and management level, including the medical staff and patients. Knowledge and understanding of the HIPAA policy and procedures pertaining to HIPAA privacy rules, and Florida State rules. Analytical skills with acute attention to detail. Ability to manage large volume of documents and correspondence. Excellent reading comprehension, communication skills and the ability to work well with team members and other departments. Knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint and company systems. Excellent writing and organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and work independently on projects. Required Work Experience: Minimum of four (4) years of HIPAA/HITECH privacy experience.
