About the Regional Float Nursing TeamJoin the

Wellstar Enterprise Support Team (W.E.S.T.) , a highly skilled group of experienced nurses who provide care across multiple Wellstar facilities in the Augusta region. As part of this elite float team, you will support a variety of units based on your specialty while helping meet system-wide patient care needs.

Opportunities Available In

Emergency Department (ED)

Fast-paced, high-acuity environments where strong critical thinking and rapid response are essential.

Medical-Surgical (Med Surg)

A foundational specialty that builds strong clinical skills and broad nursing experience.

Intensive Care Unit (ICU)

Provide advanced, lifesaving care to complex and critically ill patients.

Operating Room (OR)

Collaborate with surgical teams to provide specialized care before, during, and after surgical procedures.

Qualifications

Experience

Minimum of 2 years of recent, direct RN experience in your specialty area within a hospital setting.

Education

Graduate of an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred).

Licensure and Certifications (based on specialty)

Active Georgia RN license or Compact RN license

BLS – Basic Life Support (AHA)

ACLS, PALS, or NRP as applicable
